Hey, I'm Carla. A Product Designer based in Athens, Greece.

I have almost a decade of experience designing solutions and crafting UIs for diverse companies. Helping companies in different industries exposed me to a wide range of design challenges. It diversified my skillset and has taught me to be more versatile and adaptable. It has also broadened my perspective on user behaviors, preferences, and expectations. This helped me become a more empathetic designer who can create products that resonate with a wide range of users.

My Back Story

I am a Filipino living in Athens, Greece. Many would ask – what led me to my current career?

When I was 16, I was interested in Food, Fashion, Psychology, Games, and Technology. All of these are still true up to this day. Although, back then, despite those interests, I didn’t know what I wanted to become. I followed the path of others and tried to become an Engineer.

Two years in Engineering, and I was excelling in the “creative” side of it. The technical drawing was fun, and Autocad was something I enjoyed. I liked tinkering and soldering parts into circuit boards. Something was wrong – everything else wasn’t for me.

This experience led me to Multimedia Arts, where I learned everything. Ranging from traditional arts, graphic design, web design, photography, and filmmaking. Studying Multimedia Arts challenged me in a good way. It landed me my first job in tech, which changed how I perceive design as a discipline.

Since then, I have become a specialist in product design. In the past years, my contributions were to design solutions in the Healthcare Industry. Currently, I’m a solopreneur under the name Disenyo, partnering with startup founders who worked for Fortune 500 companies, and founders in the creative industry all over the world. My clients are 100% referrals so far with 0€ spent on marketing. Great results and word of mouth have kept the business growing since the start of my solopreneurship.
